This Weekend

Dont forget our party this saturday at 5.  It will be a lot of fun, just hanging out and playing games.  Also, I hope to see everyone at Bible Fellowship.  We are doing something a little different and hopefully it will be really fun.

I am praying for you guys and dont forget to pray for each other.  Sometimes we dont know the difficulties that everyone is going through, but God does.

Mr. Keith and Kim Dison

Parents and Church Members-

As many of you know Mr. Keith Ellison had to have emergency heart surgery the other day and is still recooping from that. He has to have another surgery when they feel he is ready so First of all lets be in prayer for that. Second Kari Sene will have a sign up sheet outside the nursery for bringing food to Frances and Keith. There will also be a basket outside the nursery for you to put your cards or any monetary gift of your choice, so they can use it any way they can that will help them out! We will also have a card out there for everyone to sign.

I will have another basket, card and sign up sheet for Ms. Kim Dison , for those of you who do not know her, She helps during Sunday school with the 4 year olds and is one of the sweetest people I know. She was diagnosed with Cancer several years ago and was in remission, until just recently. The most recent information I have on her she has been in the hospital for severe pain that they thought was gall stones come to find out the cancer has metastasized to behind the pancreas. The basket can have money card whatever you chose Ms. Kim desparately needs our prayers and support and I am sure any monetary donation will be very helpful for her!!!

In closing I just wanted to say Thank you all for serving and helping out when needed. There are several parents and others in the church I do not have their emails for so feel free to forward and let everyone know about the baskets that will be back in the nursery! Thank you all so much and remember to pray for all 3 of these people and their families.You can also email or call me any time if you have any questions.

We are hoping to go home sometime today but, I am not getting my hopes up. Her respiratory rate is still a little high, she is still very congested and she is not eating very well. Please keep us in your prayers. Brent is still working so pray for peace of mind for him.

Guys Night

Hey everyone,

Wanted to let you all know that our guys night is this coming tuesday, April 5, at John Wilson’s house.  We will have a cookout and the food will be amazing.  I think if everyone brings $3 that will be enough for the food.  And maybe some of us bring drinks.  Please let me know if you will be there, so we know how much meat to get.

Also, please remember to still pray for Hatley Whitley.  I know she was in the hospital earlier this week, and had RSV.  I am sure Brent and Julie appreciate your prayers.

Superbowl Party

Hey Everyone,

Wanted to let everyone know that our soup party and game night for this Saturday has been postponed.  We have decided to do a super bowl party, and we didn’t want to do something two weeks in a row.  Our super bowl party will be after church, don’t worry we can record the game.  We will probably just order pizza.  Sorry, but no kids for this event.  It will be a little late, so it will probably be better without the kids.  Josh and Lauren have volunteered to host us for this night.  Please let me know if you think you will be able to be there, so we can know how much pizza to get.

I am looking forward to our last lesson in this series.  Our breakfast sunday is next week, so we will be signing up for that this week.  Also wanted to remind all of the guys that we will be having a wii night at Josh’s house thursday night the 13th at 6.  We will be playing golden eye and pretending to shoot each other.  Try to let me know if you think you will be able to be there.  We will probably be cooking out hamburgers so I need to know how much.  Everyone could maybe bring a drink or bag of chips to go with our hamburgers.  See you sunday.

Hello Everyone,

Sara and I have missed being with all of you and cant wait to see everyone this Sunday.  Dont forget this month is Pastor Appreciation month.  As you know, we are going to give David a gift card to a restaurant.  It would be great if all of you would write a note or card so we can give them to David.  Being a pastor is often a thankless job, so lets all let David know how much we appreciate the incredible job he does.  We will give all of the cards/notes and the gift card to David next sunday the 31st.  You can give your cards/notes to me if you want or you can just bring them next sunday.

Also, dont forget about the Halloween party at John & Amanda’s next saturday, the 30th at 6.  We will have a sign up sheet for what food everyone can bring this week.  It is a costume party, so show everyone your creative side.

Last announcement, our Thanksgiving/Christmas party is November the 18th at the clubhouse in Josh & Lauren’s neighborhood.  We are planning a big Thanksgiving dinner.  Sara and I are doing the turkey (John has agreed to cook it!!), and everyone else can bring sides and desserts.  It will be a really fun time and we hope everyone can come, so put it on your calenders.

I pray for all of you every day.  If there is ever anything I can pray about, just let me know.  Lately, my prayer for myself and all of you is that we will fall more in love with Jesus the more we learn about Him.  I hope that through this upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas season that we all fall more in love with Jesus.  Imagine what God could do with a group as large as ours if we all fell completely in love with Jesus.
